Instructions for care
For best long term use, wipe down the mats once a month using a slightly damp cloth.
Wipe along the grain of the weave and dry it in a well-ventilated place, preferably on a sunny day.

Free Shipping in Japan for purchases over ¥40,000 yen or more, including tax.

*Additional charge of ￥3,500 will be added for delivery to Hokkaido.
*Additional charge of ￥4,800 will be added for delivery to Okinawa.

*Additional fee of ￥4,160 for those who wish to pick up at Narita or Haneda airports.
*An additional fee of ￥2,860 will be charged for those who wish to pick up the package at Kansai International Airport.

Return and exchange policy
Please note that we do not accept returns (unless the item is faulty).
The customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs in the case of customer oversight (e.g., they chose the wrong color, wrong textile, etc.).
Although we manufacture and pack our products with the utmost care, in the unlikely event of a defective product, we will replace it immediately. Please email us at within 7 days of receiving of the defective product.

*Because each mat is made by hand, one at a time, the logo branded onto the mat may vary slightly from piece to piece.

* Avoid dropping the mat on its corner during transportation or when putting away.

* If a heavy object is placed on the tatami mat for a long period of time, a dent may be formed on the tatami surface.

* Each mat contains magnets along its edge, so please note the possibility that this could affect electronic medical devices such as a cardiac pacemakers.

* Magnets may also damage certain electronic devices and magnetic cards.
